Hi! I am Christie! So happy your are here!

I am a self taught watercolor artist and instructor born and raised in Colorado.   I won my first coloring contest at the ripe old age of 8 and have been creating art ever since. I am a member of the Colorado Watercolor Society and continue to study with award winning artists from around the country.

I graduated from Colorado State University business school with a Bachelors degree in Business Entrepreneurship. I continued dabbling in art on the side while working in the corporate landscape for over a decade. I came back to art when my son was born and haven’t look back since. My first online watercolor course came out in 2016. I have taught on Jeanne Oliver’s network and been a guest teacher on LifeBook in 2018. I love teaching watercolor and have taught hundreds of students online and in person. It is such a joy to see others empowered to create something beautiful to share with their friends and family.
